A Grocery Store is like a Cell- Vacuole/Shelves

The Shelves are like a Vacuole

The vacuole is an organelle located inside the cytoplasm that temporarily stores materials for the cell. These materials may include food, water, or waste products. The vacuole of a plant cell is usually larger than the vacuole of an animal cell. In a grocery store, The shelves are located all throughout the store, and are held on the floor. They are used to store merchandise temporarily, until someone buys them. The vacuole and the shelves in a store are both located in the "cytoplasm". They both temporarily store materials for the unit.
